THe Mirroring of Myofascial and Sen Lines Workshops March & April at various locations

Tommy has spent years taking a deep dive into the study of fascia and how yoga movement and breath work can support this intricate system that weaves through your whole body.

Lori has been practicing Thai Yoga Therapy since 2009. This technique uses acupressure and yoga like stretching to open Sen lines.

We have discovered this a where modern science and an ancient practice converge as the sen lines of Thai Yoga Therapy mirror the modern discovery of the fascial lines that make up the Fascial Matrix System.

What is fascia?
The Fasciae (plural for fascia) are bands of sheets of connective tissue beneath the skin. The fascia weaves in a web-like pattern which attach, stabilize, surround and separate muscles and other internal organs.
What are Sen Lines? The sen lines are considered, in Eastern traditions, to be 10 energy lines or pathways that run through our body and distribute Vital life energy, called Prana, Wind, Chi (Qi) or Universal energy.

Modern science has recently made revolutionary discoveries of the intricacies of how important the fascial matrix system is to our overall health and wellbeing. Yoga is the perfect modality to discover, explore and nurture your fascia.

Thai Yoga Therapy has been practiced in the east, primarily India and Thailand, for over 2000 years based on ancient scriptures. The mapping of the ancient sen lines of Thai Yoga Therapy mirror the modern scientific mapping of the fascial matrix system.

You will leave this workshop with an understanding of how fascia is present in your body and how to utilize yoga and therapeutic modalities to keep it healthy.

What is included:

  • 40-minute powerpoint presentation exploring the fascial matrix system with Tommy

  • 90-minute yoga practice putting the information from the presentation to practicum with Tommy

  • The remainder of the time Lori will guide you through a Thai Yoga Therapy sequence, applying acupressure to the fascial lines (sen lines) as a therapeutic practice.
